Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Fleet & Logistics Management: Scheduling vehicle routes, tracking shipments, monitoring fuel consumption, and managing vehicle servicing, inspections, and repairs.
Team Supervision: Assigning shifts to drivers and transport staff, monitoring performance, managing attendance, and conducting safety briefings.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all vehicles and drivers meet local transport laws, licensing standards, weight limits, and health and safety regulations.
Cost & Vendor Control: Tracking operational expenses, negotiating with third-party logistics providers, and maintaining parts inventory.
Incident Handling: Responding to vehicle breakdowns, route delays, or accidents, and filing necessary reports.
