Assistant Manager Or Senior Executive Accounts (VAT And Tax)

Role Description: The Assistant Manager or Senior Executive Accounts (VAT and Tax) is a full-time, on-site role based in Chattogram. This position is responsible for

• Managing VAT and tax-related accounting activities, including preparing returns, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and company policies.
• Reviewing financial documents, reconciling tax accounts, and supporting audits and regulatory inspections as needed.
• Prepare regular reports for management, assist in tax planning within compliance frameworks, and coordinate with external advisors or regulatory bodies.
• Support general accounting functions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of VAT, tax laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to the food and manufacturing sector.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications related to VAT and tax are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a similar role within manufacturing or FMCG organizations is preferred.
