Assistant Manager, Maker-Outward Remittance, Operations

Purpose of the job of outward remittance maker is to scrutinize and transaction processing of service remittance ensuring complying with Bangladesh Bank and Internal Policy. The role shall also be responsible for preparation and timely submission of regulatory reporting to respective departments. Other responsibility of this role to support others team member to achieve whole target of Remittance unit and communication within internal customer/branches to adverse issues.

Functional Responsibilities

• Scrutinize and maintain record of the documents received from service centers as per bank and regulatory process and policy to initiate the remittance processing.
• Identify Document Lapses according to request type and contact with source to solve the issue during request processing.
• Execution of FDD issuance/cancellation as per process.
• Initiate transaction in core banking system and SWIFT server to execute outward remittance as per rules and regulation
• Execute Nostro reconciliation transaction against relevant outward payment.
• Receive and interpreted the query messages against outward remittance sent and arrange to reply as appropriate.
• Reporting and coding of all transactions in Online Form TM Monitoring System of Central Bank accurately as applicable.
• Interact with Bangladesh Bank to get clarity of new policies/guidelines issued.

Education & Experience

• 4 years of Graduation or Masters in any discipline from any university; Business Graduates will be preferred.
• 3 Years of experience in any scheduled bank at Remittance desk.

Technical & Behavioral Skill

• Strong problem-solving skills to be able to analyze the current situation and develop implementable solutions to address immediate and long-term needs.
• Sound knowledge in GFET-v.01
• Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Experienced using any core banking software.
