- Take overall responsibility for assigned Buyer(s) to ensure timely grey fabric batching with the required quality as per T&A.
- Maintain continuous communication and coordination with the Merchandising Department to collect buyer booking and production requirements.
- Monitor and control finished and grey fabric leftover to ensure optimum utilization and minimize wastage.
- Plan and allocate required yarn quantity according to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
- Ensure completion of the 1st batch after conducting proper pre-risk analysis before commencement of bulk production.
- Plan and allocate the required number of knitting machines based on T&A, capacity and production requirements.
- Monitor knitting production progress and take necessary actions to ensure production is achieved as per T&A.
- Coordinate closely with Planning, Dyeing, Quality, Store and Batching teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production flow.
- Ensure effective communication with Dyeing, Finishing and Lab teams regarding DIA, GSM, DS and other testing-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Identify production bottlenecks, quality risks and capacity issues and take corrective actions in coordination with relevant departments.
- Monitor daily production status, batch requirements, machine utilization and delivery commitments.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, production procedures and buyer requirements.
- Prepare and communicate necessary production updates and escalation reports to the management.
- Lead and guide the knitting team to achieve production, quality and T&A targets.
- Experience: 5 years
- Education: bachelor of science in textile engineering (te)
