Assistant Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead the Washing Planning and Logistics operations of a washing unit. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in washing production planning, process management, logistics coordination, ERP systems, and cross-functional team leadership, with a proven ability to ensure smooth production flow and timely delivery according to buyer requirements.

• Lead and manage overall washing planning, production planning, and logistics operations of the unit.
• Develop and implement effective washing production plans based on buyer requirements, order priorities, capacity, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor the complete wash process and production flow to ensure timely and efficient execution.
• Closely follow up on production progress and take proactive actions to achieve buyer-required delivery dates.
• Coordinate with Sewing Planning, Merchandising, Production, Quality, IE, Finishing, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage washing-related logistics, including movement of garments, accessories, chemicals, finished goods, and other materials as required.
• Monitor production capacity, machine utilization, lead time, bottlenecks, and operational efficiency.
• Apply basic Industrial Engineering (IE) concepts to improve productivity, workflow, capacity utilization, and process efficiency.
• Identify operational problems and implement effective process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze production and planning data to identify gaps, delays, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure accurate and timely updating of planning and production information in ERP systems.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure proper system data accuracy and reporting.
• Prepare and communicate regular production, planning, delivery, and performance reports to management.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the planning and logistics team to achieve departmental objectives.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination across all levels of the organization.
• Maintain strong professional communication with internal stakeholders and ensure effective English email communication when required.
• Take ownership of critical planning and delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.

• Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience in the Washing/Laundry Industry, preferably in a garment washing plant.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems; experience with HMES will be highly preferred.
• Proven ability to independently manage and lead the washing planning and logistics operations of a unit.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-management capabilities.
• Strong command of English communication, both written and spoken.
• Good knowledge of professional email communication and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment.
