Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time role based in Dhaka with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site presence and some work-from-home flexibility. The position involves coordinating daily operations, supporting production and quality processes, and ensuring that client orders and projects are executed on time and to required specifications. The Assistant Manager will work closely with senior management to prepare reports, track performance metrics, and implement process improvements across departments. Responsibilities include liaising with clients and suppliers, supporting budgeting and cost control, and helping to manage staff scheduling and workload distribution. The role also requires regular documentation and communication, maintaining compliance with company policies, and contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Candidates should possess solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers, both in-person and remotely.
• Candidates should possess basic analytical and reporting skills, including proficiency with spreadsheets, business documentation, and performance tracking tools.
• Candidates should possess familiarity with manufacturing or production environments, preferably in labels, packaging, or related industries.
• Candidates should possess problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work independently under minimal supervision while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in a similar role will also be considered.
• Experience in supervising or leading small teams and basic knowledge of budgeting or cost control will be an added advantage.
