Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Akij Ceramics Ltd. (Tableware) is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. The Assistant Manager will support daily operations, coordinate with production, sales, and marketing teams, and ensure that tableware products meet quality and design standards. Responsibilities include monitoring workflow, preparing reports, assisting in inventory and supply chain coordination, and supporting implementation of process improvements. The role also involves collaborating with senior management on planning, overseeing team performance, addressing operational issues, and maintaining effective communication across departments to achieve business targets.
Qualifications

• Strong organizational and operational management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders.
• Experience in production, manufacturing, or consumer goods operations, preferably in ceramics, tableware, or related industries.
• Proficiency in basic business analysis, reporting, and use of office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on quality and process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Ability to work on-site in Dhaka full time and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Previous supervisory or team coordination experience is an advantage.
