Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance will lead the concerned department & will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with organizational policies and statutory regulations. The position plays a key role in budgeting, financial analysis, audit support, and ensuring proper internal control within the hospital’s financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily activities of the Accounts & Finance Department.
- Maintain bank balances, petty cash, journal, and cash book records.
- Process payments, expense claims, and refunds accurately.
- Reconcile bank statements and post monthly journals.
- Prepare reports up to trial balance, income & expenditure, and financial position.
- Assist the management in financial planning, forecasting & decision making along with reporting, budgeting, and audit preparation.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, AIT, and relevant financial regulations.
- Liaise with external Auditors, Banks & Regulatory authorities as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Experience: 3-6 years
