Role Description The Assistant Manager Accounts role at Truck Movers is a full-time, on-site position based in Dhaka. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, preparing vouchers, and recording all financial transactions accurately. The Assistant Manager Accounts will assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and supporting budgeting and cost control activities. The role also includes reconciling bank statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors as needed. The individual will contribute to improving financial processes, maintaining organized financial records, and providing timely reports to management to support decision-making.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools, along with solid numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of local taxation, compliance requirements, and basic financial analysis for budgeting and cost control.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess good organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines and maintain accurate documentation.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred; relevant professional certifications or coursework will be considered an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within logistics, transportation, or a similar industry, is beneficial.
