Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Turkish Fiesta in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This position supports the daily operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, coordinating shift schedules, and ensuring consistent service quality. The Assistant Manager monitors customer satisfaction, addresses guest concerns promptly, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Responsibilities include overseeing cash handling, supporting inventory control, assisting with vendor coordination, and ensuring adherence to company policies and hygiene standards. The role also involves training and guiding team members, helping implement promotional activities, and reporting operational updates to senior management.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff, delegate tasks, and support team performance in a hospitality or customer-facing environment.
• Strong customer service skills, including handling guest feedback, resolving issues, and maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Basic understanding of restaurant operations, including scheduling, cash handling, inventory support, and adherence to health and safety standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team and interact confidently with guests.
• Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks during busy periods.
• Comfort with using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications; willingness to learn new tools and processes.
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, or retail management is preferred but not required.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
