- Operate and maintain electrical machinery onboard LPG gas carriers, ensuring safe and efficient performance.
- Perform scheduled (daily/weekly/monthly) inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems.
- Monitor electrical operations during ship loading, unloading, and idle conditions, including cargo handling systems.
- Supervise generators, main switchboards (MSB), distribution boards, and other shipboard electrical equipment to ensure uninterrupted power supply and safe vessel operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory, update monthly checklists, and ensure timely availability of required items.
- Ensure compliance with MMD, RINA Class surveys, docking requirements, and maintain certification records.
- Maintain ship loading & unloading data documentation, calculation liquid, vapor & prepare report.
- Responsible for ship to ship operation as per port authority rules & regulations.
- Experience: At least 2 years
- Education: electrical engineering
- Skills: ship management, lpg, electrical maintenance, maritime operations, oil & gas operations
