- Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, scope of work, and project requirements.
- Review architectural, structural, interior, and MEP drawings to identify quantities and scope.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analysis, and project budgets.
- Collect and analyze current market rates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and services.
- Prepare Tender Documents, RFQ/RFP, Scope of Work, Technical Specifications, and Commercial Schedules.
- Manage the complete tendering process, including tender invitation, clarification, addendum, bid submission, and evaluation.
- Prepare Tender Comparative Statements (TCS) and evaluate technical and commercial offers.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality and project requirements.
- Review contractor/vendor submitted BOQs, quotations, claims, and variation proposals.
- Check quantities against approved drawings and site measurements.
- Support e-GP/public procurement tendering activities, where applicable.
- Maintain tender databases, vendor databases, historical rates, and cost records.
- Ensure tender and procurement activities comply with company policies, project requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with the project team to ensure awarded rates and BOQ quantities are properly transferred for project execution.
- Experience: 3-6 years
- Education: bachelor of science in civil engineering (ce)
- Skills: bid preparation, bid specifications, quantity surveying, bid processes, competitive tendering, procurement processes, bid writing, bidding process, construction estimating
