Position Overview
The AGM / Senior Manager – Laboratory & Telemedicine Operations will own both the operational and the business performance of Arogga's diagnostic and telemedicine service lines nationwide. Beyond running day-to-day service delivery – home sample collection, laboratory partner management, and doctor consultation operations – the role carries full accountability for the department's commercial health, including revenue growth, cost efficiency, and P&L performance.
The incumbent will work closely with laboratory and doctor partners, logistics, customer service, and technology teams to build a scalable, efficient, and patient-centric healthcare service network.

Key Responsibilities
- Laboratory & Telemedicine Operations
- Lead end-to-end operations across both diagnostic (lab) and telemedicine (doctor consultation) service lines.
- Ensure seamless coordination between lab partners, the doctor panel, home sample collection teams, logistics, and customer support.
- Monitor lab turnaround time (TAT) and doctor consultation response/wait times, driving continuous improvement in both.
- Scale and manage the doctor panel to meet 24/7 service commitments – overseeing scheduling, capacity planning, and consultation quality.
- Home Sample Collection & Service Delivery
- Manage nationwide home sample collection operations, including route planning and phlebotomist resource utilization.
- Monitor sample handling, cold-chain maintenance, and lab handover to protect sample integrity and patient safety.
- Partner Management (Lab & Doctor)
- Build and maintain relationships with diagnostic labs and doctor partners; monitor performance against SLAs.
- Coordinate onboarding of new lab and doctor partners; resolve operational issues to maintain consistent service quality.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Implement and maintain SOPs across laboratory and telemedicine operations.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations; run regular audits and drive process-improvement initiatives.
- Business & Revenue Management
- Own the department's P&L – revenue targets, cost efficiency, and margin performance across lab and telemedicine service lines.
- Develop pricing, packaging, and growth initiatives with Marketing and Growth teams to hit monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and business cases for new services or capacity expansion.
- Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities linking lab, telemedicine, and the broader medicine-order ecosystem.
- Performance & KPI Management
- Define and monitor operational and commercial KPIs; prepare dashboards and management reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Technology to improve lab and telemedicine workflows on the platform.
- Coordinate with Customer Service on issue resolution, Supply Chain/Logistics on sample transport, and Product on new service launches.
- Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the lab operations, telemedicine operations, and field teams.
- Set performance objectives, conduct reviews, identify training needs, and build a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Experience: 8 to 10 years
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing, Pharmacy, Medical Laboratory Science, Healthcare Management, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline, MBA, MPH, or a related Master's degree is an added advantage
- Skills: Laboratory Turnaround Time (TAT), Customer Satisfaction (CSAT)
