- Oversee end-to-end HR operations including manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave, payroll coordination, employee records, separation, and workforce stability management.
- Develop HR policies, systems, and HR analytics; prepare and analyze HR metrics and management reports to support informed decision-making.
- Drive employee engagement, retention, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations by ensuring effective communication, coordination, and positive workplace culture across the factory to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance management, and disciplinary issues in line with labor laws.
- Ensure employee welfare facilities, workplace hygiene, sanitation, and basic living standards are properly maintained.
- Ensure 100% compliance with EPZ Labour Law, EPZ Labour Rules, BEPZA regulations, buyer codes of conduct, and company policies.
- Liaise regularly with BEPZA authorities, DIFE, Fire Service, and buyer representatives for inspections, reports, and approvals.
- Lead internal and external compliance audits, ensure audit readiness, and manage statutory documentation, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement corrective action plans (CAPs), ensure timely closure, and liaise with auditors, buyers, and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee occupational health and safety programs, fire safety, emergency preparedness, and workplace risk reduction initiatives.
- Manage factory security operations, access control, incident investigation, and protection of assets, employees, and facilities.
- Drive sustainability and ESG initiatives including environmental compliance, waste management, chemical control, and resource efficiency.
- Provide strategic leadership in workforce planning, organizational development, process improvement, and alignment of HR, Admin, and Compliance functions with business goals.
- Experience: 15-20 years
- Education: master of business administration in human resource management
