- Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts function of the group.
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash-flow projections.
- Manage financial planning, working capital, cash flow and treasury operations.
- Oversee banking facilities, LC operations, export proceeds, foreign currency transactions and trade finance.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Income Tax, VAT, Companies Act, Customs, Bangladesh Bank and other regulatory requirements.
- Supervise cost accounting, product costing, inventory accounting, production cost analysis and variance analysis for spinning mill operations.
- Establish, implement and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, SOPs and risk management systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors, banks, tax and VAT authorities, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
- Provide timely financial analysis, business insights and strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and Board of Directors.
- Lead, supervise, motivate and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Ensure effective utilization of ERP/ accounting systems and improve financial reporting and control processes.
- Support management in cost optimization, business planning, financial performance management and strategic decision-making.
- Experience: 5-7 years
