Role Description The Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Sylhet, Bangladesh. In this position, the counselor will advise prospective students on suitable international study options, admission criteria, and program choices aligned with their academic background and goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting consultations, providing accurate information on application and visa processes, and supporting students in preparing required documents. The counselor will maintain regular communication with students and families, follow up on inquiries, and ensure timely responses to applications. The role also involves collaborating with partner institutions, participating in outreach or information sessions, and maintaining detailed records to ensure a high standard of service and compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three years of relevant work experience in this industry is required.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to effectively advise and support diverse student populations.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide responsive, student-centered support and handle inquiries with professionalism.
• Candidates should possess Sales skills to promote educational opportunities ethically and help students make informed enrollment decisions.
• Candidates should possess Education-related knowledge, ideally with familiarity in international higher education systems and admission processes.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Business, or a related field are preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Sylhet, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain accurate documentation and follow-up.
• Proficiency in English and Bengali, with strong presentation and counseling abilities; prior experience in education consultancy or student advising is an advantage.
