Accounting Manager

Role Description The Accounting Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Feni District. This position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, supervising journal entries, and ensuring accurate recording of transactions. The Accounting Manager will manage fixed asset registers, coordinate month-end and year-end closings, and support budgeting and financial analysis. The role includes monitoring compliance with internal controls and local regulations, liaising with external auditors, and providing clear financial reporting to management. The Accounting Manager will also guide and support accounting staff, helping to improve processes and maintain high standards of financial integrity.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Financial Statements and Finance, with the ability to interpret and present financial results clearly.
• Proficiency in Journal Entries (Accounting) and managing Fixed Assets, including accurate classification, depreciation, and reconciliation.
• Well-developed Analytical Skills for variance analysis, forecasting, and identifying process improvements.
• Experience with accounting software and MS Excel, including data analysis and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting leadership or supervisory role, preferably within transportation, manufacturing, or food industry sectors.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and support team development.
