Position Overview: As an Accountant at MR-Accountants, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality accounting and finance services to our clients. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing strategic financial advice. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for financial matters
• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements (In compliance with IFRS/GAAP)
• Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed
• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to clients to help them make informed business decisions
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, generate insightful reports, and make informed recommendations.
• Maintain the highest standards of data security and confidentiality, adhering to all company and client privacy policies.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest accounting standards, open to learn new technology, and relevant software updates.
• Proactively identify and resolve accounting issues, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and streamline workflows
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management

Here is what we're eagerly anticipating from you:

• BBA/MBA in Accounting/Finance or CA, ACCA or CPA (Part Qualified, 2nd Level or Above are highly preferred)
• Proven experience of 5-8 years in different finance and accounting role
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Office Location: Flat – 5th Floor (Lift-4), House – 2/6 (Alba Tower), Section-11.5, Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka 1216

Office Hours: 10 am - 6 pm (Monday to Friday)

• Weekend: Saturday and Sunday
