Job Context

A reputed Japan–Bangladesh joint-venture RMG company is seeking a competent, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to strengthen its Finance and Accounts function. The position requires practical experience in RMG accounting, including daily transaction recording, ledger maintenance, account reconciliation, TDS/VDS documentation, financial closing, and audit support.

The selected candidate will work closely with management and external auditors to ensure that all financial records are accurate, properly documented, and compliant with applicable requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in the company's accounting software.
• Record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, expenses, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Ensure proper maintenance of ledgers, vouchers, invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate closely with the auditor to maintain accounts and ensure that financial records are properly updated and reconciled.
• Prepare and maintain accounts-related reports and schedules as required by management.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and other relevant account reconciliations.
• Handle and maintain proper records for TDS and VDS.
• Prepare necessary TDS/VDS calculations, supporting documents, certificates, and records.
• Handle TDS/VDS-related work and documentation required for the company.
• Ensure accounting and tax/VAT documentation is properly maintained and available for audit or inspection.
• Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, bills, payments, and supporting documents.
• Assist in preparing information and documents for external auditors, tax/VAT authorities, and management when required.
• Maintain confidentiality of company financial and business information.
• Identify discrepancies in accounting records and take appropriate action to resolve them.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties assigned by management.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience: 3-5 years
• Education: bachelor of business administration in accounting
• Skills: proficiency in accounting software, accounting, basic accounting knowledge, knowledge of accounting software, accountants, back office operations, japanese business culture, basic accounting, accounts reconciliation, simply accounting
