Company Description IdeaSpace is a creative agency focused on helping brands stand out through high-impact, conversion-driven content. The team combines art, concept, storytelling, and strong visual execution to produce static, motion, and video content tailored to diverse marketing needs. Services span CGI, VFX, UI/UX, TVCs, and OVCs, all aligned with the core objective: “Convert with Content.” IdeaSpace also operates an in-house videography studio that supports both internal productions and external rentals, offering clients end-to-end creative solutions.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Accountant role is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Accountant will manage day-to-day finance operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate recording of project-related revenues and expenses. The role will support compliance with local tax regulations, coordinate with external auditors, and maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions. The Accountant will collaborate closely with management and project teams to provide financial insights and help improve cost control and profitability.

Qualifications

• Strong core accounting skills, including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and cost analysis.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar), MS Excel, and basic data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of Bangladeshi financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with creative and operations teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in an agency, media, or creative industry environment is a plus.
