Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Satkhira District. The Accountant will manage daily financial transactions, including recording income and expenses, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate ledgers. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements and reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and monitoring cash flow and bank reconciliations. The role involves ensuring compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations, assisting with audits, and maintaining organized financial documentation. The Accountant will collaborate with program and operations teams to provide financial insights that support effective decision-making and project implementation.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping, general accounting, and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and basic financial analysis.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of relevant financial regulations, audit practices, and internal controls.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in a nonprofit or development organization is an advantage.
