Role Description The Accountant role at Global Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Mirpur Model Thana. The Accountant will handle day-to-day financial transactions, including recording journal entries, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and ledger accounts. The role includes preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Accountant will monitor cash flow, assist with month-end and year-end closing, and collaborate with internal departments to provide accurate financial data for decision-making. The position may also involve preparing tax documentation, assisting with audits, and implementing process improvements in the finance function.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices, including general ledger management and financial reporting.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and comfort working with digital tools.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to reconcile complex accounts and transactions.
• Understanding of local tax regulations and compliance requirements; experience supporting audits is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, ACCA, CPA) are a plus.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a technology or services environment.
