Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Dhaka. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording journal entries, maintaining the general ledger, and reconciling bank statements. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. The role will also involve managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments, and assisting with tax calculations and regulatory filings. The Accountant will collaborate with management to provide financial analysis, support audits, and maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, QuickBooks or similar) and MS Excel.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
• Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Understanding of local tax regulations, compliance requirements, and audit processes.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
• Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or commercial environment.
