Account Executive

Position: Executive – Accounts.

Company: Shah Sharif’s (R.) Resources ltd.

Job Location: Dhaka

Travel Requirement: Factory visits across Bangladesh

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records, vouchers, invoices, bills and other financial documents.
• Record payment receipts, journal entries accurately in TallyPrime ERP.
• Maintain and update accounts payable and receivable records and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare and maintain bank, cash and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
• Assist in monthly closing, financial reporting and management reports as required.
• Prepare and verify VDS, TDS, VAT/Mushak related documents and records.
• Coordinate with commercial, procurement, sales and store/inventory teams for proper accounting documentation.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records for audit and management purposes.
• Assist in preparing cash flow, expense and other accounting statements when required.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks assigned by management.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / BBA / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field from a reputed institution.
• M.Com / MBA in Accounting or Finance will be an advantage.
• Professional accounting courses such as CA (CC), ACCA or CMA will be an added advantage.

Experience & Skills

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Accounts/Finance.
• Basic knowledge of TallyPrime ERP is mandatory.
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, ledger, reconciliation, payable/receivable and financial documentation.
• Working knowledge of VAT, TDS and VDS/Mushak will be preferred.
• Good command of MS OFFICE programme.
• Good communication, numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to maintain accuracy and work within deadlines.
